Back then, reliable and efficient courier services seemed like a distant dream. People faced numerous challenges, from lost packages to delayed deliveries, causing frustration and inconvenience.
Seeing this struggle, we were determined to make a difference. We believed that we could do something better for our country. Fueled by hope and self-belief, we set out to transform the way courier services operated in Nepal. This belief led to the creation of The Can Group, with a vision to connect 90% of the population by facilitating trade and commerce through a vast network. From a hopeful idea, Nepal Can Move has grown into an integral part of The Can Group, which includes Nepal Can Code, Nepal Can Studio, AAGT Transport. Today, we proudly serve over 1000 locations across Nepal, bringing convenience and connectivity to every corner.
We have introduced innovative methods to ensure packages are delivered efficiently and on time. Backed by Australian technology company, we use advanced data science and AI to manage and solve logistics challenges, such as optimizing delivery paths and offers a real-time tracking to eliminate uncertainty and long queues. Our technology also helps build e-commerce customer trust by providing transparent and reliable service. Beyond these solutions, we tackle the challenge of delivering packages to remote areas in Nepal. We’ve expanded our services to Karnali and the far west, often delivering on foot, by human back, and using donkeys, ensuring that places like Humla, Pyuthan, Manang, and Mustang receive the same reliable courier services as Dharan and Birtamod.
Today is a big day for Nepal Can Move as we celebrate our 6th anniversary. We’ve come a long way from our small start to becoming a top company in Nepal’s courier industry.
Founding Story
Nepal Can Move was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to achieve something great in Nepal at a time when many were heading abroad in search of opportunities. It was 2018 when three friends – Ganga Bahadur Thapa, Sudeep Acharya, and Manish Prasad Acharya, – decided to do somethings great in their home country Nepal with the belief that we can established a today’s one of the top courier company in Nepal. We wanted to make a real difference in our country, so with the hope and belief of “we can,” we founded The Can Group with the vision to provide opportunities to 90 percent of the population of Nepal by enhancing trade and commerce by 2030.

In the early days, finding a job meant calling numbers posted on wall pamphlets, as said by Ganga Bahadur Thapa. The founders vividly remember those times when providing employment to even one person seemed like a great achievement. Today, Nepal Can Move proudly employs over 700 individuals across the country, each contributing to the mission of delivering excellence and reliability.

Nepal Can Move began in a single small room in Tinkune. From those modest beginnings, we have grown into a nationwide operation, managing all aspects of our business—from pickups to dispatches—in-house. Our centralized operations ensure efficiency and reliability, allowing us to serve thousands of customers across Nepal seamlessly.
From 2018 to 2024, our journey at Nepal Can Move has been marked by growth and innovation. Despite facing challenges such as natural disasters disrupting operations in remote areas, we have consistently delivered with excellence, ensuring every customer receives their packages on time and with care. In 2018, we embarked on our journey by creating a logistics service with a small yet dedicated team, laying the foundation for what would become Nepal Can Move. Through sheer effort and dedication, we quickly built a loyal customer base. By 2019, we had earned the trust of senders and receivers alike, overcoming distances and weather conditions to ensure reliable deliveries. In 2020, we expanded our capabilities significantly, training over 600 delivery riders to uphold our commitment to efficient service. The year 2021 marked a period of substantial growth, as we expanded our presence with over 200 branches, connecting every district across Nepal. By 2022, our efforts had touched millions of satisfied customers, delivering happiness and earning their trust. In 2023, we proudly provided employment opportunities to over 700 individuals across Nepal, contributing to local economies. As of 2024, Nepal Can Move has achieved coverage across Nepal with over 300 branches and more than 1,000 delivery locations, advancing steadily towards our vision for 2030

Everyday, more than 700 staff driven with CAN culture are out there at your service. We are marching towards CAN VISION™ 2030 and will establish branches in each of 753 municipalities, create 10,000 new jobs, and facilitate trade and commerce by connecting 90% of people through our massive network.
